Stuart Greaves established Personal Security Service Limited (PSS) fourteen years ago. This company is now a long standing provider of Secure Escorting, Specialised and Remand Fostering Services.

Four years ago Stuart decided to utilise a unique approach to child care using an unconventional method - Specialised Fostering. He believes that working with a young person on a 1:1 basis with strict rules in place is the best way to help him/her out of care and into society.

This regime is determined by the needs of the individual. A young person with very challenging behaviour may require a higher staff ratio than that of a young person with less challenging behaviour or they may require a different approach to care altogether. An example where this method worked well was in an uncommon situation when a young female was placed with a male carer as she had difficulty relating to other females.

Stuart believes that education and support plays an extremely important role in the young persons return to society as these encourage the young person to behave in the correct manner.

Stuart developed this type of care as a specialised service offered by PSS and has a high (8 out of 10) success rate.

Contrary to popular belief the method of care that Stuart and PSS use proved successful and is now used by other care companies across the UK.
