Louise Johnstone

Louise has worked in journalism and public relations for over 12 years both in the UK and her native New Zealand . She is currently the ‘number two’ in the corporate team at Smithfield , a niche PR Agency, and has represented leading City institutions including Lehman Brothers, Old Mutual Asset Managers, Aegon UK and Travelex.

Before moving into the world of PR, she spent two years working as the Features Editor of a leading trade publication after graduating with a post graduate Diploma in Journalism and a BA in English Literature, Art History and Politics from Auckland University , New Zealand .

Louise is a supporter of many charities and has recently joined the committee of The Westminster Challenge, a charity which aims to bring politics and charity closer together. Louise is concerned by the rise of youth violence and gang culture and is delighted to have the opportunity to join the Board of Kids Count.
